Gwendolyn O. Mayo, Chairman
Dr. Mayo is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vassar College. She earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry at the University of Minnesota and worked as a research scientist at the University of Colorado. Her aviation background includes serving as chief financial officer of Mayo and later as president for 10 years. Dr. Mayo served as chairman of the board of the National Air Transportation Association from 1995 to 1996. She is the sole stockholder and coordinates the management of contracts for the corporation.

Bill Mayo, CEO
Mr. Mayo has grown up with the company and, outside of maintenance and piloting, has performed every job function. He received his BS degree in geology at Tulane University. He returned to Mayo full time in 1986 and became CEO in 1998. He is active in several organizations, including the National Air Transportation Association and the Wyvern User Advisory Board.

Candy Johnson, Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Johnson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado in French and anthropology. She has held various management positions in her eighteen-year human resources career. Prior to joining Mayo Aviation, she worked in a variety of industries as a consultant and trainer at Mountain States Employers Council.

Steve Kulinski, Director of Operations
Mr. Kulinski brings over 25 years experience as a Flight Department Manager including positions at Viking Ltd. The Virgin Group, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and The United States Air Force Academy. He grew up around aviation, as the airport kid who did every odd job at his neighborhood airport in northern Illinois. Later, he received his pilot’s license at age 17 and to date, has logged over 14,000 flight hours in a wide variety of aircraft. In addition to his responsibilities of regulatory compliance, safety, security, and flight operations management, Mr. Kulinski will be assisting in the expansion of Mayo’s charter and managed aircraft fleet.

Wade Tefft, Chief Pilot
Mr. Tefft brings over 18 years of flying experience including over 7,500 flight hours in a wide variety of aircraft.  He began flight training at the age of 15 and earned his private pilot’s license at 17.  Before joining Mayo in 2005, his experience included flight instructing, banner towing, glider towing, passenger and overnight cargo flying.  Most recently he served as an instructor and check airman for Air Midwest Airlines.

Allen Noel, Director of Maintenance
Mr. Noel has BS in aviation maintenance management from Metropolitan State College in Denver. He started his career as a mechanic and quickly moved to Director of Maintenance for Star Aviation/Airlines, then joined Rocky Mountain Intensive Air Care as DOM before it was acquired by Mayo Aviation.
